Higher Secondary School Teacher Tranformation Programme (HSSTTP) in History, a training programme for the government and aided higher secondary school teachers of Kerala sponsored by the Govt of Kerala and organized by the Kerala State Council for Educational Research and Training (SCERT) and Dept of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE), was conducted at St Dominic’s College Kanjirapally from 2022 Dec 9 to 18. Kerala including Dr Muse Mary George, Director, the State Institute of Encyclopaedic Publications, Govt of Kerala, Prof Pius Malekandathil, JNU, Dr. Burton Cleetus, JNU, Dr Abhilash Malayil, SSUS Kaladi, Dr KN Ganesh, Dr Sebastian Joseph, Dr Abdul Razak, Dr Mubarak Pasha, VC, Sree Narayana Open University, Dr Venugopal, former Director, National Museum, New Delhi, Dr Vinil Paul, Dr Sreejith S, Prof Karthikeyan Nair and Dr P S Manoj. The programme included an Archaeology expert - Dr Cyriac Jose - guided study trip to Muziris heritage sites and a short visit to the St George’s CSI Church Pallikkunnu where the vestiges of Local History are cherished. The Programme was a great success with the hearty support received from the Honorable Director of General Education, Sri Jeevan Babu IAS, Academic JD Sri R Suresh Kumar, State Coordinators Sri Shihab and Sri Ratheesh and SCERT RO Sri Renjith Subhash. Bino P Jose, Assistant Professor, Dept of History, SD College Kanjirapally was the Director of the  programme and Sri Yusaf Kumar S M, Principal, Kannassha Smaraka G HSS Kadapra was the Co-ordinator of the course.
