A one-day seminar and exhibition titled 'Greenovate: A Day with an International Scientist' took place at St. Dominic's College Kanjirapally, jointly organised by the Departments of Botany, Chemistry, and Physics for the graduate and postgraduate students. The programme was inaugurated by Dr. G. Ajith Kumar, Professor at the University of Texas, who also delivered the keynote address. The exhibition featured a unique innovation, a paper-substance processed from the fiber of water hyacinth, an aquatic weed, in addition to various other handicrafts. Notable attendees included College Manager Rev. Fr. Varghese Parinthirickal, Principal Dr. Seemon Thomas, Heads of various departments, and Programme Convenor Dr. R.B. Smitha.
